Pedro is co-founder and CEO and Head of Data Science at CrowdProcess, a data science company based in New York. His academic background is in engineering, applied to simulation. He is one of the co-creators of James, the machine learning tool for Credit Risk used in banks across Southern Europe to decrease their default rates on consumer credit.

Pedro started his career in FinTech at the age of 25 with CrowdProcess, which has recently been awarded best European Fintech Startup of 2016. He is passionate about data science and open data, and also one of the founders of the largest Open Data organization in Lisbon, ODMLX.
