Michael studied business economics in Saarbrucken and Mannheim. In this time, he founded his first companies. He received his diploma and started at Professor Homburg & Partner Consultancy. In 2000 he had his first contact with the internet-payment industry by joining a company that charged digital goods. Afterwards he changed to EuroCoin AG. Here he has built up the virtual money-business. In 2004 he took over one of the group-subsidiaries by Management-buy-out. Michael has sold this company and started at Amazon to build up Amazon Payments in Germany. In November 2014, Michael joined IDnow as Managing Director.
