A passionate founder influenced by his entrepreneurial father from a very young age, who attempted to position him as a successor of his insurance broker. Julian wanted to dive into the thrilling start-up world though. After completing his studies at the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland, he moved to London were he played a leading role in building the fastest growing company of all time – Groupon. In 2012 he founded DeinDeal Home&Living. Deindeal.ch was the fastest growing start-up in Switzerland and became one of the biggest ecommerce companies in the country, establishing itself as one of the most well-known brands in the Swiss market. In the summer of 2015 DeinDeal was sold.

In 2015 EMPAUA and FinanceFox were founded. FinanceFox achieved the largest investment round in the insurtech sector in 2016. Julians vision for FinanceFox is to revolutionise the insurance experience all over the world by offering customers the best value for their money and support throughout the claim process – simple, anytime and anywhere.
