Mirko Krauel is CEO of collectAI since 2016. collectAI is a subsidiary of the Otto Group, Germany’s largest e-commerce retailer. With an international team of 35 people Mirko builds the new generation of receivables management based on an AI-driven technology. He is a fintech expert, having worked in the field for both, startups and larger companies. Prior to joining collectAI, Mirko was a Principal at EY Innovalue, which is a strategic management advisory firm driving digitisation for the banking and payments industry. Before that as a Senior Consultant at PWC he advised clients in their realignment after the financial crisis 2008. Mirko holds a diploma in Business Administration and started off his career as a “traditional” banker. So he brings in a great deal of knowledge on why innovation in financial services is necessary and how to tackle it.
