Sonia Cissé is heading the Technology, Media and Telecommunications/Privacy team of Linklaters Paris. Sonia’s practice covers the full range of TMT legal areas, with a focus on data protection, contracts (IT, outsourcing and commercial), e-commerce and telecoms.
Sonia has gained important experience in advising companies in particular from the Banking and Financial sector across all aspects of major commercial contracts, sourcing and complex procurement transactions, regulation of data and networks, e-business and IT security, and telecoms.
Prior to joining Linklaters, Sonia spent several years within the Computer and Law Department of a well-known French law firm specialised in IT law and in the Advanced Technology department of another International Law firm.
Sonia is an active member of l’Association Française du Droit de l’Informatique, IAPP, Fratel, the Global Sourcing Association, Women in AI and Blacks in AI.

Thanks to her deep knowledge of the TMT sector and real passion for innovative technologies, Sonia Cissé also co-chairs the Linklaters Paris Innovation and Efficiency Committee which is responsible for directly surveying and implementing innovative ideas and tools as well as efficiencies for lawyers and their clients.
