Zach Perret is CEO and co-founder of Plaid, the technology company powering the fintech ecosystem. After learning how difficult it was to build a secure personal finance application, Zach and his co-founder started Plaid in 2012, creating a toolkit to encourage an inclusive and competitive ecosystem that drives innovation while protecting consumers’ financial data. Plaid recently raised a $250M Series C and, as of 2018, one in four people in the US with bank accounts have used Plaid. Prior to Plaid, Zach was a consultant for Bain and graduated with degrees in Physics and Chemistry from Duke University.
