Antony became Managing Director of the European Region at Visa in November 2018. He is responsible for growing Visa’s business in 35 countries across mainland Europe, focusing on deepening client relationships and driving the transformation of Visa’s business in Europe. In addition, Antony also has accountability for Merchants and Acquiring, Visa Consulting Services and the ongoing development of Visa’s Corporate Solutions across Europe.

Antony brings over 20 years of experience in banking and financial services to Visa and has held Executive leadership roles across product, retail, corporate, institutional and business banking, finance and strategy. He joined Visa from his position as Chief Operating Officer at NAB (National Australia Bank) where he spent eight years in multiple senior roles, four of which on the Group Executive. Prior to NAB, Antony spent 12 years at ANZ (Australia and New Zealand Banking Group). He holds a BSc (Hons) from Loughborough University and an MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management.
