Nelson is CEO and Co-Founder of MODIFI, a company solving global trade finance for small and medium-sized businesses, backed by Maersk and Global Founders Capital. Prior to MODIFI, Nelson was CEO of AEVI, a leader in omni-channel payments and SmartPOS solutions. As CEO and Founder of his first company BillPay, Nelson is a FinTech pioneer. BillPay, the German leader of buy-now-pay-later solutions was acquired by Klarna in 2017.
Nelson started his career as M&A lawyer at Freshfields and private equity investor at Cerberus Capital.
