Ulyana Shtybel is a Co-founder, Chief Capital Officer and Vice President of the Board of Directors at HighCastle, the UK investment marketplace and blockchain-based share registrar.

Ulyana is a pioneer in securities tokenisation industry in the UK, she co-founded HighCastle to improve the private investments landscape, providing private companies and funds with a solution for the electronic issuance of securities, thus ultimately simplifying securities transfers for investors.

Ulyana has extensive experience in senior executive management, government relations, corporate finance, investment and retail banking, having worked as the Executive Director of the Warsaw Stock Exchange Representative Office in Ukraine, Head of the Banking and Financial Services Committee at the American Chamber of Commerce, Alfa Bank Regional Trainee with 180 loan specialists under supervision.

Ulyana co-founded and led two fintech incubation programmes, Fintech Master and Open Banking Lab, organised in partnership of 1991 Open Data Incubator, OTP Bank and Mastercard in 2017–2018.

Ulyana is named the Digital Leader of the Year Finalist for the Tech Leaders Awards 2019, Regional Finalist for London & the South of the Forward Ladies National Awards 2019, Blockchain Leader Finalist for the Women in Tech Awards 2019.

Ulyana holds a PhD in Economics.
