Nik founded Revolut in 2015 after spending eight years working for some of the biggest global banks. There, he experienced first-hand the astronomical fees applied to foreign exchange transactions. He knew the rates customers should be getting and realised just how unfair the system was. After trying and failing to find a fairer way to exchange money, he decided to make his own.
