An expert in venture capital, Patrick spent ten years of his professional career advancing through the ranks of T-Venture, the Corporate VC firm of Deutsche Telekom AG. He wound up as CEO before moving on to join CommerzVentures.

In the years before, he honed his skills working for Allianz Venture Partners, Deutsche Bank Technology & Services, and PricewaterhouseCoopers. His approach has always been exit-focused with a view to invest knowledge and expertise alongside capital. Previous successful exits include the likes of Grouper Networks Inc. (Sony), Jajah Inc. (Telefonica), Ruckus Wireless Inc. (IPO), Netviewer (Citrix), Swoodoo (Kayak), KaufDA (Axel Springer), clickandbuy (Deutsche Telekom), and MyTaxi (Daimler).
